Nowadays most of the medical professionals inquiring about job status in middle . Before replying to this question I need to explain some background. It will help to make decision either to move Middle East is healthy for you or not?
It is very important that why you are moving to Middle East or want to move. Every doctor has different reasons and circumstances. Some have reasons which leave them with no other options. Like Mostly female doctors are dependent on husband and they need to move after marriage so they are not left with any other option.Other is your financial issues, which may force you to move abroad.
• If you have plans for post graduation then big No for Middle East.
• If you have completed your post graduation then you are welcome.
• If you are married and your husband is here then you don’t have any option other than to try your luck in Middle east.
• If you are career oriented and interested in progressive career growth then best advise is, try to complete your post graduation if your shoes allow you.
• Chances of Post graduation in nearly all middle east countries are same. Very minor chances to enter into system. So don’t take that risk.
• If you have options other than middle east where you can continue your post graduation then take that as priority.
• If you have no other options to move abroad then again its as last thing. Then definitely you should try your Luck.
• Medical qualified doctors can work as Clinical Physicians, Health insurance claim officers and demonstrator in medical colleges.
• To work as clinical Physician you need to take license to practice.
• To work as health insurance claim officer you don’t need to take license but mostly such jobs are preferred to doctors who are already in country and own visa. Plus if have previous experience in similar field.
• To work as demonstrator again don’t require license but again limited jobs.
• Lastly can work as health care management officer but for mostly required MBA or MPH plus previous experience.
So before jumping , See your circumstances, your priorities and future plans then decide accordingly. I am very well aware most of time we are pushed due to circumstances to such decisions. Then truly we should try our luck and rest should leave to God.
